Kevin Murdoch chose not to take part in the questionnaire. Every candidate in the region was sent the same questions, and taking part was always voluntary. We respect that choice, and we encourage voters to look to their campaign and public statements to learn where they stand. You can also read the questions every candidate was asked.
Mayor Murdoch declined to participate because his opponent serves on the boards of Livable CRD member organizations. Livable CRD notes that while candidate Sam Holland serves on the boards of various participating organizations involved with Livable CRD, he was not involved in the creation, refinement, or grading of questions and had no involvement with this project.
