Logos
Pick the variant that matches your background. Give the logo clear space and do not place it on busy or low-contrast imagery.
Colours
Livable CRD uses three core brand colours. Keep text legible: use Inky Purple on light surfaces and white on the deep purples.
Typeface
The brand typeface is Lexend, a free Google Font. Headings are set in uppercase Lexend to echo the logo wordmark. Get Lexend on Google Fonts.
Usage
- Do keep clear space around the logo and use the variant that fits your background.
- Do scale the SVG for print or large formats; it stays sharp at any size.
- Don't recolour, stretch, rotate, add effects, or redraw any part of the logo.
- Don't imply endorsement. Livable CRD is non-partisan and does not endorse candidates.
Posters
Print-ready posters to pin up at events, community boards, cafés, and campus spaces. Each has a QR code that opens the scorecard at livablecrd.ca. Sized for Letter (8.5×11"). The SVG scales cleanly to larger formats; the PNG is a 300 dpi print file.
Promotion templates
Ready-to-use copy for member organizations helping spread the word. Copy a template, then swap in your own organization's name and voice. Please keep the non-partisan framing: Livable CRD informs, it does not endorse.

Fundraising
Livable CRD is volunteer-run and paid for by individual donations. These are the assets for partners who want to help raise them. Both images carry a QR code that opens livablecrd.ca/donate, which points at our own donate page rather than the payment processor, so the code keeps working if the processor ever changes and nobody gives before reading the rules.
Please leave the "individual donations only" line in place wherever you use these. We cannot accept contributions from corporations, unions, developers, or candidates, and saying so up front saves everyone a refund. As with everything else here: Livable CRD informs, it does not endorse.

Pair these with the images above, or use them on their own. Swap in your own organization's name and voice, and keep the contribution rules accurate: they are the reason the scorecard can say what it says.

Livable CRD sends every confirmed municipal candidate in the Capital Region the same questionnaire, then publishes the answers, the grades, and the names of anyone who didn't reply. One scorecard, before election day. It's volunteer-run and paid for by people who live here. Individual donations only: no corporate money, no union money, nothing from developers or candidates. Subject: Help fund the Capital Region candidate scorecard Friends, We're part of Livable CRD, a non-partisan coalition of Capital Region community groups. Every confirmed municipal candidate gets the same questionnaire, written by the organizations that work in each policy area, and we publish what comes back on one scorecard: the answers, the grades, and the candidates who didn't reply. That work costs money. Reaching every candidate, grading responses against a published methodology, and getting the scorecard in front of voters before election day all take real effort, and the coalition is volunteer-run with no institutional backing. Livable CRD is funded entirely by individual donations from people who live here. It cannot accept contributions from corporations, unions, real estate developers, or candidates, and it does not endorse anyone. Under B.C. election rules, donations are capped at $1,429.70 per person per year, contributors must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents living in B.C., and Elections BC publishes the name and amount for every contribution of $100 or more. Online donations cannot be anonymous: a name and residential address is recorded for every contribution, whatever the size. If you can give, here's where: https://livablecrd.ca/donate/ [Your organization]
