Livable CRD is happy to help journalists and media covering livability, housing, transit, climate, and local democracy in the Capital Regional District. We are a non-partisan voter-education coalition: we inform, and we do not endorse candidates.

What to include
To help us get you what you need quickly, please include:
- Your name, outlet, and role.
- A short description of your story and the angle you are exploring.
- Any specific questions, topics, or municipalities you want to focus on.
- Your deadline and preferred format (written statement, interview, or background).
Interviews and background
Coalition spokespeople are available for interviews and background conversations about our methodology, the topics we evaluate, and what the scorecard means for voters. Because our grades come from a coalition of organizations, we can also point you to the partner best placed to speak on a given policy area.
About Livable CRD
Livable CRD is a non-partisan coalition of community groups preparing a candidate scorecard for municipal elections across the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. Participating organizations collaborate on a shared questionnaire covering transit, housing, arts, climate, walking, cycling, youth, healthcare, and general livability, then grade candidates' responses using a published, reproducible methodology. Read more about the coalition.
Logos and brand assets
Logos, colours, and usage guidance are available on our brand assets page for media who need to represent Livable CRD accurately.
